What is 2C-E?

2C-E is short for 2,5-Dimethoxy-4-ethylphenethylamine. This research chemical is psychedelic in nature and is a part of the phenylethylamine class of chemicals. It is similar to mescaline in chemical structure. This chemical was first synthesized in the year 1977. 2C-E has a phenyl ring bound to an amino (NH₂) group through an ethyl chain. It produces a number of research findings that are desirable for many experimenters in the research chemical community.
